Meet our team of multi-skilled tradespeople.

Julie Haddow
Julie is Director and founder of Lime Repair. She worked for St Blaise for a time on projects which included Trafalgar Square and Knole. She undertook a SPAB fellowship in 2000 and has worked on projects in Yemen and the USA. She founded Lime Repair in 2008 with the aim of repairing and restoring old buildings using traditional materials.
Julie is recognised nationally as an expert on lime and the fabric of old buildings. She tutored for a time on the lime courses at Ty Mawr in Wales, and has written articles for magazines, the most recent being in the Listed Property Owners Club. (Link)

Kevin Williams
Although Kev is a bricklayer by trade, he can turn his hand to almost anything! Kev has worked for Lime Repair since 2012 and has worked on every aspect of the repair of old buildings from chimneys and roofing right down through laying stone and wooden floors to excavating the drainage below. He likes nothing better than a trip in a cherry picker to repair a tower or propping a wall to repair a brick arch.

Caspar Lucksted
Cas runs our plastering team. He joined us a few years ago and learned on the job, having had various very diverse careers such as farm management and website design.

Grant Haddow
Grant is a multi-skilled general builder who is equally at home plastering a wall or at the wheel of a digger. He had learned modern building skills before Julie persuaded him to join us at Lime Repair and has adapted to lime as if he has always used it.
The surname is not a coincidence, Grant is Julie’s brother.

Dominic King
Dom joined us a couple of years ago as a labourer and didn’t take long to show his potential. He is now a skilled lime plasterer and an invaluable member of the team.

Dan Powles
Dan is an experienced roofer, carpenter and site manager. He has worked for Lime Repair for a couple of years now.
